Anubis

A quick 3 hour character painting I made last semester for one of my finals. I was tasked with designing Anubis from ancient Egypt. I had to do a lot of research on the culture of ancient Egypt and see how they desrcibed and depicted Anubis. I overall went with the idea of Anubis being half-mummified since he is the god of the dead. I gave him a human/jackal hybrid design since he is said to have the head of a dog and a body of a human male. I then added some wraps around his body for a final touch.
